It is a well known fact that many men enjoy any type of competition. These days, you don’t have to go to the grocery to buy chocolate. Just like cookies, these can be home made as long as you have the ingredients and the materials. They most important to make chocolate are the molds.

Molds are usually made of plastic and these can be purchased from craft stores. Most of these cost about a dollar up so if you want to make these in different shapes and sizes, you have to buy a bunch.

Now that you have your mold, you should also buy the raw chocolate which is also available from the craft store. This is available in different flavors and colors so you can mix them up later on.

There are two ways to melt chocolate. The first is to cut the chocolate block into small pieces and then put this in a microwave safe bowl before sticking it in the oven. Since it is quite hard to see if all the chocolate has finally melted, we now come to the second option which is to melt it using a double boiler.

A double boiler consists of two pans. The first one has water while a smaller one is placed on top which is where the chocolate will be placed. You then stir the chocolate until melts. Once everything is now in liquid form, you then get your mold and pour the chocolate.

You should tap the bottom to take out air bubbles out of the chocolate otherwise there will be holes later on when they come out of the freezer. If you decide to put in candy sprinkles or marshmallows with your chocolate, it is best to pour them into the boiler.

After ten minutes or so, the chocolate mold inside the freezer is ready to be taken out. A good indicator is to check the bottom of the mold and see if the chocolate is still holding on to the mold.

If it is ready, then it is time to flip it over and tap it gently so it can land on a soft surface like a napkin to prevent it from breaking. Another method is to carefully pour water on the mold. But if it is not, then you should put the mold back into the freezer.

The nice thing about working with chocolate is that if is should crack or break, you can recycle it which prevents wastage. If you make a mistake when you are painting it, don’t touch it and wait until it freezes so it is easy to remove and you can start over.

When it is ready, you can serve this as part of your dessert but if you are giving this away as a gift, make sure you find a nice box because it should look presentable to whoever will be receiving it.

Surely the molds you used to make chocolate will be used in the future. To maintain it, you must never wash this with soap as this removes its slickness. You should also carefully dry it after washing because it could cause spots to appear making it also difficult for the chocolate to be released from the mold.

But if your chocolate mold is sticky, perhaps you should coat it first lightly with some vegetable oil before you pour in the melted chocolate.

Making chocolate using molds is fun. You may not get it perfect the first time but as time goes by, you are sure to get better at it.

If you follow my World of Warcraft gold making tips, you know that one of the best ways to make gold is to sell items you have farmed or gathered at the Auction House. This is because other players set the prices for items based on what they are willing to pay, and they almost always will spend more gold for a given item than the vendor will. If you are going to make gold in World of Warcraft, you are going to need to know how to use the Auction House, so in this article I will go over the basics of selling items for gold at the Auction House.

The main Auction Houses are in each faction’s home city; Ironforge for the Alliance and Orgrimmar for the Horde. To activate the Auction House control, walk up to an auctioneer and right-click. Here you will see the interface to browse and buy items in the Auction House. We want to sell, and the seller’s tab can be found at the bottom of the window.

There a few things that we must decide when listing items at the Auction House:

• What should I list?
• How much of each item should I list? (applies to stackable items)
• What opening bid should I use?
• Should I use a Buy-it-Now?
• How long should I list it for?

What should I list?

You should list any item that is white, green, blue, or purple. This includes weapons, armor, quest items, recipes, ores,skins,herbs, etc. Anything that is gray, sell to a vendor. Otherwise, at least check the prices at the Auction House to see if your item is worth selling.

How much of each item should I list?

You should always put full stacks of stackable items if you can. The only exception to this rule is rare items like rare herbs or gems. Players will buy these off the Auction House one at a time.

What opening bid should I use?

Well, first of all, it is very important to understand that players want instant gratification. That means that when they visit the Auction House and pay gold for an item, they want to get it right away. Therefore, you should always use a buy-it-now price, so players can buy the item outright. Set your opening bid the same as the buy-it-now price. You can also set it a little lower to entice players willing to wait for the auction to end to get a little bit better deal, but most of the time your items will be bought-out.

Should I use a Buy-it-Now?

As I said above, yes, always use a buy-it-now. The next question is to price the buy-it-now the same, lower, or more than the other items on the Auction House. I have the Auctioneer add-on, which tells me what the market price is for items on my server. I recommend getting this add-on and pricing at the market price, because most of the time your item will sell on the first try. If you don’t have Auctioneer, look at how the items currently on the Auction House are priced. If there is only one screen of items, price yours the same as the others. If there is more than one screen, supply is high and you should probably undercut the others to make sure you can sell on the first try.

How long should I list it for?

I always list for 24 hours with a buy-it-now to get maximum exposure.
